At the Flat Bush Music Academy we hope to create a fun and encouraging environment where we nurture a love for music in people of all ages. The FBMA was founded by a family of musicians – the Kwak family. Cecilia, John, and Catherine are all accomplished performers and teachers.

Our tutors have over 30 years of teaching experience and are international competition-winning performers. We offer lessons in piano, violin, cello, and theory as well as accompanist services. We have a 100% exam pass rate with the majority of students receiving distinctions. The teaching studio is located in Flat Bush and there is a grand piano as well as an extensive music collection.
